Responsibilities would include:

Responsibilities:

Qualified candidate will be the primary daily contact within a specific group for a single investment manager. S/he will provide professional support through timely and accurate processing of booking, confirming, and instructing settlement of trades, processing lifecycle events, reconciling cash and positions with brokers and custodians, collateralizing positions, pricing securities and positions, valuing portfolios, and executing some administrative functions for fund investments, as well as the documentation of all procedures for these functions. The candidate may be exposed to several asset classes including but not limited to exchange-traded, OTC derivatives for futures, currency forwards (foreign exchange), options, swaps, fixed income and equities. Team and Position Overview

 

The REIT financial reporting team supports many of the largest publically traded REITS in North America.  This person would be responsible for external financial reporting for our publically-traded (SEC) client base.  Responsibilities include being the primary account manager for one or multiple clients, being responsible for implementing best practice in the operations and management of clients, managing three to five staff in delivering accurate investment accounting, managing client projects, and assisting in the onboarding of new clients. Subject matter expert to support the preparation and review of financial statements and supporting footnotes for publicly traded companies.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Client Management

 

§  Heavy interaction with CFO and other members of the leadership team

  • Manage relationships with one or multiple clients – maintain KPIs, operational calls, and project management of client specific initiatives
  • Cross sell new services to clients

Description:

The job holder is responsible for serving as the go to business analysis thought leader in a specific business domain within a line of business.  This individual serves in a cross-program role to ensure quality of the deliverables within their areas of expertise and drives innovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale programs.  S/he has extensive and deep expertise and business domain knowledge in, Middle office Services; including Trade Processing, Corporate Actions, Derivatives Margin and Lifecycle Management, Reference Data Management, Reconciliations, Collateral management, Cash Forecasting and processing, Portfolio Accounting, Data Delivery and Reporting  for Asset and or alternative Investment Managers. s/he has deep expertise spanning the associated business, operations and technology areas.  S/He will manage and mentor Business Analyst Consultants II and III performing business analysis and testing functions for large-scale mission-critical projects, and will be responsible for requirements / story development activities.  In addition to domain expertise, this individual is an expert in business analysis techniques including requirements and Agile Epic and Story development, prioritization and management, use case modeling, and process modeling.  S/he demonstrates a deep understanding of end-to-end operation flows across multiple system applications, expertise and experience with Software Development Life Cycle processes and methodologies, extensive project management and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of application architecture.

Project Manager II

Description:

The job holder manages the planning, organizing and implementation of medium sized strategic programs (highly visible initiatives crossing multiple disciplines, businesses, and/or organizations). S/he is responsible for the coordinated management of multiple related projects, and in many cases, ongoing operations which are directed toward a common objective. S/he works with constituent Project Managers (who are responsible to the Program Manager for the execution of their project and its impact on the program) to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program. S/he is responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of the program. S/he is responsible for stakeholder management particularly stakeholders external to the organization. S/he facilitates Steering Committee and regular program team status meetings and all other communications. All team members within the program take direction from the Program Manager for the duration of the project. The Program Manager is accountable for the overall management and delivery of the program on behalf of business, operations and IT.
